Jorel’s Brother Renewed For A Second Season
Cartoon Network Brazil’s recent animated show success, Jorel’s Brother (Irmão do Jorel in Portuguese/El Hermano de Jorel in Spanish) has been renewed for a second season. New episodes of Jorel’s Brother will premiere in late 2016 and new episodes are already in the process of being dubbed, with 26 episodes of 11 minutes in length being produced at Copa Studio.
Jorel’s Brother is about a kid living under his brother’s shadow, he feels that he will never be as good or popular as his sibling, but that doesn’t stop him from having fun and go on crazy adventures with his eccentric family. The characters in the show are based on Juliano Enrico’s family, the show’s creator.
Meanwhile in Brazil, Birdo Studio is currently developing a new animated show for Cartoon Network called Oswaldo, about a penguin living as a human kid in Rio de Janeiro. Birdo Studio also produced the Vinicius & Tom – Divertidos por Natureza animated shorts for the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games and Cartoon Network.
